Valera
Certified Organic Vaginal Lubricant
Product Review
by Rebecca Ammon
It's Saturday morning and I'm hyped up for another product review. The favorite part of
my job is that my reviews require sex. Since Soccer Dad is finally home from his travels I enlisted his help
to try out a new product. He didn't complain at all.
First let me tell you some specifics on this product:
Valera is the world's first USDA certified organic natural female
lubricant. Developed by Dr. Darlene Gaynor, a urologist seeking a resolution to her patient complaints
about dryness, Valera is proven to moisturize the vaginal tissue, improve vaginal comfort, as well as
enhance sexual pleasure and arousal. It’s especially great for women who are suffering from vaginal
dryness as a result of Sjogren's Syndrome. Valera, contains only natural, plant-based organic
ingredients including aloe vera, shea butter, lavender, evening primrose and coconut oil.
While I don't suffer from vaginal dryness, a little extra lubrication
is always fun. The product is gel-like so it doesn't pour out and make a big mess. It had no scent, which is
important to me because most products with scents and flavors will irritate my pretty parts. The lubricant was
spread liberally between my vagina and anus (as both were on the plate for morning sex).
Valera seemed to lubricate me well (all over). It wasn't sticky nor
drippy. I didn't seem to need to relubricate so the first test was all that was necessary. For women who
experience dryness at the beginning of an encounter or after things have progressed I would definately
recommend this product.
The only draw back I found was after reading up on the product I saw
that it is oil-based which is not recommended for use with condoms. This type of product is best used in
monogamous relationships where protection isn't a concern.
