Unlicensed Tampa area
swingers club busted!

Just this weekend an unlicensed swinger club was busted outside Tampa Bay.  The club was operating in what is thought to be a private home in a residential area.  While many will maintain this is simply an underground club like many others, it's 100% illegal and puts you at risk of not only the public exposure of your private life, but also jail.

It comes as no surprise that this club in particular was busted.  I'm not going to publicly name this club, but if you are in the lifestyle in the Tampa area you probably know exactly what club was at fault.  The club advertised on the internet with an approximate location along with a phone number to call for the real address.

Do you think the owners screened their patrons assuring each couple/persons were actual swingers?  Did this establishment take your safety into consideration?  The answer is no, no precautions were taken.  These are things to think about when visiting an underground club as such.  In the Tampa area alone there are several underground, unlicensed clubs operating.  I'm quite certain the same goes on everywhere.

Consider this, if you drive into a residential neighborhood to get to your club, if the property is not an actual house that someone lives in, but has a strange entrance where you are paying money to get in the door and handing your booze over, get back in your car and drive away.

The swinger lifestyle, in the Tampa area particularly, has been under a microscope that last several years.  Even licensed clubs have been shut down under pressure of even the slightest infraction of the law (errors that regular clubs/bars only receive a slap on the wrist for).

One major drawback to the swinger lifestyle is the danger that exists. While this type of lifestyle isn't for everyone, many see it as a character flaw or an immoral behavior and will be set on getting it out of their town no matter what. These two factors alone are enough to be very careful who you share your secret with. It's one of the many reasons why I don't publish my face or real name on anything. I have a family and a career I want to protect. I would never jeopardize either for something I do for fun.

In addition to remaining somewhat secretive of myself I am also very careful where I play. I choose to only play in private residences (meaning where someone actually lives), a legally rented hotel room or a fully licensed private club.

Don't let your lifestyle interfere with your livelihood.  Be proactive in your safety at all times when swinging.  Stay away from unlicensed clubs!

  1. Rebecca, you're right, but you shouldn't be. We live in what is purportedly a free country, and if people want to have such places, if they're not causing nuisance issues such as parking or noise, they should be able to do so. The only reason this was a crime was because money changed hands, just as sex is legal until it's paid for. Like prostitution, if the bahavior is legal if it's free, it ought be legal if it's not. We never have gone to this house, nor do we know the people arrested, but we've been to other such venues and had fantastic times.
  2. It is sad that our government spends our tax dollars to harrass concenting adults who chose to have sexual relationships in a non-public location. The rights our forefathers gave their lives for are being lost to those who wish to control the legal actions of others. Sad, very sad.
