Anna Paquin on Bisexuality

Anna Paquin came out as bisexual to her fans about a year ago, but was it really a big secret? Even with her marriage to fellow True Blood star Stephen Moyer, Paquin admits in the upcoming Transformation issue of V magazine that she never was aked about her sexuality. Never asked? What? Some stars are hounded right out of the closet confirming something that was really never necessary for any of us to know.

She isn't the only Hollywood star living an alternative lifestyle quite under the radar. Hugh Hefner is one of the more famous that lives the polyamarous lifestyle. Society may shake their heads at his latest break-up, but seldom do I read much controversy about his lifestyle. More often than not his famous parties are celebrated and immortalized on the Hollywood big screen. I'm quite certain more goes on at those parties than just good conversation.

For years rumors have swirled around the globe that Will and Jada Pinkett Smith  have an open marriage. As a couple who have lived in the glaring light of Hollywood, I commend them for their openness. I wish more of us living an alternate lifestyle were comfortble being open about our personal relationships.

The unfortunate truth of living outside the norm is the need to keep your private life private. While I would never care to have a conversation with my coworkers about my sex life it would be nice if I didn't have to follow a strict regim of lying about what I do on the weekends or where I go.

Finally, I applaude Anna Paquin for her honesty about who she is and what she does. And of course if you are ever in town Anna don't hesistate to give me a call!
